Bulgaria’s best female tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova scored a victory in the first round of Indian Wells tennis tournament with a total prize fund of USD 6.8 million. Pironkova defeated 6:2; 7:5 Donna Vekic (Croatia). Vekic places 94th in the WTA tennis rankings, while Tsvetana Pironkova currently occupies the 105th position in the rankings.
