The government has assigned Deputy Prime Minister for Internal Order and Security and Defence Minister Stefan Yanev the task of coordinating all activities, connected with the preparations – organizational and technical – for the holding of elections for a National Assembly of Bulgaria on 26 March.
According to the government’s cost estimate the preparations and holding of the general election will cost around 15 million euro. The financing will be provided by restructuring 2017 national budget expenditures.
