Fans in Blagoevrgad (10 November), Plovdiv (11 November), Бургас (13 November), Varna (14 November), Rousse (16 November) and Veliko Turnovo (17 November) will now be able to hear the band in concert, even though Ahat have not played on stage for many years.
The band’s national concert tour features a guest appearance by Joe Lynn Turner, a name well known from the bands Deep Purple and Rainbow, who will be playing his best-loved hits together with Ahat, fans will also be able to hear the band’s evergreens as well as new songs they will be playing for the first time.
“This will be our last national tour,” says Ahat‘s frontman Zvezdi Keremedchiev. We all have our own work and very rarely get to play together. But we decided to mark this event for the sake of our fans, they deserve it. It is really important to us to take our last bows together. This anniversary is just the right time to close this page in the history of Bulgarian rock music with a bang.”
Whether this really will be their last tour or not, only time can tell. In 2018 the musicians from Ahat are planning a spectacular concert in Sofia, with a symphony orchestra and guest musicians as a supporting act.
