Bulgaria signs new memorandum for Vertical Gas Corridor

A new memorandum of understanding for the fulfillment of the Vertical Gas Corridor was signed on Thursday in Brussels, Bulgartransgaz announced. The gas transferring network operators of Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Hungary are parties in the contract. These are Bulgartransgaz EAD, DESFA S.A, TRANSGAZ S.A, FGSZ Ltd and the project company IGB which fulfills the project for the Bulgaria-Greece gas interconnector. The concept for Vertical Gas Corridor aims to develop the opportunities for bi-directional transfer of natural gas between Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary.
