UNESCO Centre in Sofia announces international youth competition

On the occasion of 75 years since the establishment of UNESCO and 65 years since the accession of Bulgaria, the Regional Centre Sofia of UNESCO has announced an international youth competition "Intangible Cultural Heritage: Next Generation". The prize is a 3-day visit to Paris. The jury will determine three winners who will have the opportunity to visit the UNESCO Headquarters and other cultural sites. 

The competition is for people aged 18 to 35, citizens of 16 countries within the scope of the Centre. The competition will last until September 15, 2021, Chayana Istatkova from the Regional Centre told BNR's Horizon program.
Participants can present crafts, dance, music and performing arts, cooking, rituals and customs or other forms of intangible cultural heritage.
