MP Toshko Yordanov: The increase of the budget for culture is insufficient

"The increase of the budget for culture is insufficient. I agree with the representatives of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences who demand more financing", the Chairperson of the National Assembly Committee on Culture and Media Toshko Yordanov said for the BNR. He voiced hopes that this will change when the state budget is amended in July.

"The state should not give money for advertisements in private media. Public service media should not receive money for advertisements from private businesses", Toshko Yordanov noted.

 "In my opinion, there is no need to have a Council for Electronic Media, or at least it needs to be reformed" the Deputy Chairman of "There is Such a people" party went on to say.
