Weather forecast for May 19

Weather gets warmer but afternoon showers are expected

On Friday, the lowest temperatures will be between 9 and 15°C, in Sofia – about 9°C. It will be sunny in the morning but cumulus clouds will form in the afternoon. There will be rain showers in many regions of the country. The highest temperatures will be between 20 and 25°C. It will be 20°C in the capital.

There will be scattered clouds over the Black Sea coast and rainfalls in the afternoon. The highest air temperature will be about 18-22°C. Sea water temperature is 15-16°C.

It will be predominantly sunny in the mountains but there will be rainfalls in the afternoon. At an altitude above 2200 m the rain will turn to snow. The highest temperature at 1200 m will be 12°C, at 2000 m up to 5°C.

The weekend will be mostly sunny with brief afternoon showers.

In Europe, over the western part of the Iberian Peninsula it will be sunny, while it will be cloudy with precipitation to the east. There will be rain showers in Wales, southern France, northern Italy, Corsica, Switzerland, Austria, Poland Belarus and western Ukraine. In the Balkans, it will rain over the eastern part of the peninsula. It will be 17°C in London and Berlin, 19°C in Paris. 15°C is expected in Moscow. In Madrid and Istanbul it will be 20°C. Rome – about 21°C. It will be 21°C and 24°C in Belgrade and Athens, respectively. Bucharest will be the warmest European capital with 25°C.

In Vancouver and Montreal it will be 22°C and 16°C, in New York and in Chicago it will be 19°C and 22°. Los Angeles – about 22°C. Miami - about 30°C. The temperature in Dubai will reach 38°C; in Jerusalem – about 24°C.
