Weather forecast for July 3

Warm weather with local showers expected

On Monday, sunny weather will prevail over most of the country. Cumulus clouds will develop mainly in the afternoon hours over the eastern regions of Bulgaria and the mountainous regions and in some places there will be rainfalls and thunders. The highest temperatures will be between 27°C and 32°C, in Sofia - around 27°C.

In the mountains, cloudiness will be variable, often significant. There will be showers in the afternoon. There will be light to moderate northwesterly wind. The maximum temperature at 1200 m will be around 21°C; at 2000 m - around 13°C.

At the Black Sea coast, the cloudiness will be changeable and showers are expected in some places. The highest temperatures will be between 25°C and 28°C, and the sea water is 22°-25°C.

It will be mostly sunny on the Balkan Peninsula before noon. In the afternoon, clouds will bring showers and thunderstorms in some places. It will be 32°C in Athens and Bucharest, 31°C in Istanbul, 30°C in Belgrade.
