Week of Italian Cuisine starts in Sofia

The eighth edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World starts in Sofia as organizers are the Embassy of Italy in Sofia, together with the Italian Cultural Institute and the ITA agency. The various events will reveal the connection between the Mediterranean diet, synonymous with healthy lifestyle, and well-being.

The new small library for Italian cuisine, with books donated by the representative office of the Italian Culinary Academy in Sofia, will be presented today at the Language Center of the Cultural Institute. Afterwards, the program includes a culinary lesson on the preparation of tiramisu by Prof. Alessandra Gennaro.

The program of the week (November 13-19th) also includes a gala dinner hosted by Italian Ambassador Giuseppina Zarra, presentation of the book "Italian Cuisine in Pictures", a lesson on Italian cuisine with young people from the Day Center for People with Disabilities "St. Marina " in Sofia.
