The probability that the chair of Sofia Municipal Council will not be elected at the solemn session tomorrow is huge, Boris Bonev from "Save Sofia", told BNR. "There are 61 municipal councilors and we need 31 to elect the chair; we might never elect one", he commented.

Boris Bonev considers himself suitable for the position. PP-DB-"Save Sofia" will support his candidacy and a negotiation team is already talking with the other political groups, municipal councilor Simeon Stavrev informed "Club Z". However, the union has 23 representatives in the council and the missing votes will have to come from elsewhere.

"None of our municipal councilors in the association have any intention of continuing the GERB model in Sofia," Boris Bonev also said.
