Welcome to Bulgaria Today, the English-language podcast of Radio Bulgaria, on November 5 hosted by Rositsa Petkova.

We start with a summary of the leading news stories from Bulgaria and the weather forecast for tomorrow.

Next, we bring you an interview with another long-time listener of Radio Bulgaria, this time from Germany, and a fan of our German-language programmes. “My friendship with Radio Bulgaria started back in 1975”, says the German writer, radio journalist and poet Helmut Matt as he talks to us about his love for international radio listening, his passion for Bulgarian music and folklore and his book Bulgarian Impressions.

At the end – we bring you a blend of Bulgarian folklore and jazz in a new interpretation of the much-loved folk song “Rosni mi, rosni, Rositse” by the young musicians of JazzBoree.
