Welcome to Bulgaria Today, the English-language podcast of Radio Bulgaria, on November 7 hosted by Rositsa Petkova.

We start with a summary of the leading news stories from Bulgaria and the weather forecast for the weekend.

Next, "Responsibility, Unity and Security" this was the motto of a German-Bulgarian seminar for journalists and public figures held in Sofia providing an open platform for discussions on Germany's role in European politics, security, media freedom and Bulgaria's upcoming accession to the Eurozone. The German ambassador to Sofia and other guests of the seminar speak to Radio Bulgaria with comments.

At the end – as every Friday we have a new episode in our running series presenting masterpieces in Bulgarian music – this week we bring you the magnificent, yet tragic fate of Nestinarka the fire-dancing girl of Bulgarian composer Marin Goleminov.
