The National Sheep and Goat Breeding Association is ready to stage protests and has given Agriculture Minister Georgi Tahov a deadline until October 6 to announce a decision for the immediate vaccination against small ruminant plague (sheep and goat pox), the association’s chairman Simeon Karakolev wrote on Facebook.
According to Simeon Karakolev, such a decision has been made by the association’s management board. ''If the Ministry of Agriculture and Food does not adopt a decision for vaccination, we will welcome European Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Christophe Hansen with blocked roads and protests", Simeon Karakolev further wrote.
