Surplus of Bulgarian trade in services in third countries

International trade in services of the European Union has increased significantly over the last decade, according to EU statistics office Eurostat. Bulgaria's export of services to countries outside the EU totals 2.2 billion euro. The major trade partner of Bulgaria is Russia with 655 million euro, followed by the U.S. with 229 million and Switzerland with 106 million. Bulgarian imports of services in 2013 reached nearly 1.3 billion euros. The largest share goes to the U.S -. 140 million euro, followed by Russia with 120 million and Switzerland with 75 million. Bulgaria reported a surplus in services trade with countries outside the EU totaling 928 million euro. The largest is the surplus in trade with Russia - 536 million and the U.S. - 89 million.
