The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been preparing a decision to provide humanitarian assistance to ethnic Bulgarians in Ukraine, Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov has announced. The ministry is also looking for opportunities for joint Bulgarian-Ukrainian initiatives in the sphere of culture and education, as well as for projects in the framework of the communication strategy. The question of providing better access to Bulgarian radio and TV through free distribution of Bulgarian media is also being discussed. Minister Mitov has pointed out that instructions have already been sent to the Bulgarian embassy in Kiev and the consulate office in Odessa to facilitate issuing visas to ethnic Bulgarians coming from areas of military operations in Ukraine.
