Bulgarian Jean Marinov who left this country in childhood and has been living in Switzerland, has breathed new life in poetry by Petya Dubarova with the song Memories. The lyrics are an abridged version of the poem Untouched. The permission for using the text was given by the poetess's sister Elitsa Dubarova-Petkova. This is not the first piece of the emigrant based on lyrics by famous Bulgarian poets. A year ago Marinov who lives in Basel shot a video to the song You are in me on lyrics by Nikolay Liliev.
Jean Marinov is related to Petya Dubarova in a curious way. The museum-house of the poetess in the Black Sea city of Burgas was once the property of his grandfather.
