Trade between Bulgaria and EU on the rise

In 2015 Bulgaria’s exports to other EU member states increased with 7.9% as compared to 2014 and the country’s imports from the European Union grew with 5.8%, the National Statistical Institute informed. The country’s exports amounted to EUR 15.08 billion. Nearly 70% of the export was directed to Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece, France and Belgium. The imports amounted to EUR 17.21 billion. Most of it came from Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece and Spain.
