The United Nations Children’s Fund UNICEF begins a global relief campaign #actofhumanity. It seeks to promote more activities given that the unprecedented ceasefire in Syria is an opportunity for all players on the international scene to contribut to the rebuilding of that country, said Ivailo Spasov from the Bulgarian office of UNICEF in an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio program Saturday 150. He said that regardless of their religious, ethnic or social status children are above all children with rights laid out in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. In UN figures there are 65 million refugee children worldwide. Ivailo Spasov explained that many children arrive to Europe every day and each child has the right to get the chance to develop his or her potential. He said children should not bear the blame and responsibility for the actions of adults. At the end of March UNICEF launched a series of animated films world with the name Unfairy Tales to promote positive perceptions towards the tens of millions of children and young people on the move in the. The three true story animations recount of the flight of children from conflict. They will be supported by an interactive e-book experience also called Unfairy Tales.
