State support for Bulgarian Red Cross receives international recognition

During a meeting with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, General Secretary of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Elhadj As Sy, expressed satisfaction from the fact that the Bulgarian state provides support for the Bulgarian Red Cross. It was pointed out that BRC places among the top in the activity chart of the International Federation, which includes 190 national societies. During the talks that took place in the foreign ministry, topics of discussion were also the migration crisis, cooperation with third countries, the recent agreement between the EU and Turkey, as well as the conflict in Syria.
