Foreign direct investments in Bulgaria mark significant decline

Data by the Bulgarian National Bank show that in the period January - February direct investments in Bulgaria have dropped by more than 400 million euros. For the first two months of the year foreign direct investments in this country reached just 81 million euros, as the largest investor was Germany. Investments in real estate, which are attractive mostly to Russian citizens, have declined by half, statistics show. In the first two months of the year trade balance of the country remained negative, as exports grew by 8 per cent and imports - by some 2 percent.
