The leader of the ruling GERB party and Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borissov said that his party was inclined to revise those changes in the new Election Code which provoke public discontent. Premier Borissov himself was against the introduction of compulsory voting, but GERB agreed with those changes in the name of the stability of the ruling coalition. The National Assembly can speed up the introduction of the electronic voting, Premier Borissov contends.
