It is of key importance for Bulgaria, Croatia and the other countries from Central and Eastern Europe to coordinate their stands, in order to deal with the common challenges of the EU, Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Daniel Mitov said during the meeting with his Croatian counterpart D-r Miro Kovac, held within the frameworks of the two-day official visit of Minister Mitov to the Republic of Croatia. Ministers Mitov and Kovac discussed during the meeting the EU perspective of the Western Balkan countries, the migration crisis, topical issues from the international agenda, as well as the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Croatia. Ministers Mitov and Kovac shared the view that it was extremely important for Bulgaria, Croatia and the countries from the Western Balkans to continue the reforms and progress on the road to the European integration. However, the countries from that region must fulfill all criteria, in order to enter the EU and NATO and maintain regional peace and stability, Minister Daniel Mitov and his counterpart Miro Kovac further agreed.
