Visteon opens new engineering center in Sofia

The US-owned company Visteon opened on May 11 a new engineering center in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia. Visteon is a global leader in the manufacture of electronic components and equipment for automobile brands, including world-famous brands BMW, Ford, Renault/Nissan, GM, VW, Daimler and Honda. Over 680 software and hardware experts are currently employed at the Technical center of Visteon Electronics Bulgaria. In the past four years the Automotive Cluster Bulgaria has created over 20,000 new jobs in over 30 factories and many of the companies are strategic investors, Bulgaria’s President Rossen Plevneliev pointed out during the official inauguration of the engineering center.
