Recent days have seen a slight increase in migration pressure, Deputy PM and Interior Minister Rumiana Bachvarova told the press. She pointed out that a group of 30 refugees was intercepted yesterday near the Black Sea town of Primorsko. In today’s reports people smugglers tried to transfer 23 illegal migrants via the border with Turkey hidden in a train with magnesium ore. They were seized during a border police check at Kapitan Andreevo border crossing. „This is part of the process of guarding the border, not just the border line, but we detain migrants inside the country as well”, Bachvarova said. The Deputy PM added that no cases were known so far of migrants crossing into Bulgaria through the Black Sea.
