Two police officers detained in Bulgaria’s Blagoevgrad

Two police officers and a procurer were arrested during a specialized operation of the regional unit “Countering Organized Crime” in the city of Blagoevgrad, Southwestern Bulgaria. The police operation has been carried against suspected women traffickers. At the end of 2011 Martin Philipov, known for his pimping activity, was discharged from a prison in France, where he was sentenced to three and a half years in prison.
