Support of all communities the basis for nation’s unity: Rosen Plevneliev

At a solemn Iftar dinner for the start of the holy Muslim feast of Ramadan President Rosen Plevneliev said that the unity of the Bulgarian nation was based on the unity of all its communities and on their common cause for peace and prosperity of the Fatherland. Religions in Bulgaria are not isolated from one another and people are engaged in constant cooperation, the head of state said. The Chief Mufti of Muslims in Bulgaria Mustafa Hadji in turn said that the relations of mutual respect and tolerance should be preserved and conflict between denominations in the country should be prevented.
