Sebastian Kurz: Bulgaria is doing its best to cope with migration flows

Austria’s Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz stated that Bulgaria was doing the best it can to cope with the migration flows, adding that the country is an EU external border. Minister Kurz held a meeting with his Bulgarian counterpart Daniel Mitov, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry of Bulgaria has announced. On his part Minister Mitov said there were three important steps the EU must take: the Union must regard itself as one whole, an all-out battle must be waged on people traffickers and European migration and asylum policies must be streamlined. The Bulgarian Foreign Minister added that guaranteeing energy security and diversifying energy sources and suppliers was a top priority for the government.
