Bulgarian national volleyball team remains in World League elite

The volleyballers from the Bulgarian national team have managed to keep their place in the elite first division of the World League after a dramatic 3-2 win versus Australia (25-20, 21-25, 25-18, 23-25, 16-14) in the last, crucial match from Group H of the World League in Dallas, USA. The Bulgarian team finished in the 11th, or second to last position in the overall standings for the entire division with 1 win, 8 losses and 2 points, which means they are keeping their place in the World League elite next year.
