Global companies considering investing in Bulgaria after Brexit

Global companies have been considering investing in Bulgaria because of Britain's decision to leave the European Union. Experts reported about strong investors’ interest in industrial areas across Bulgaria, not only in the largest cities of Sofia and Plovdiv. However, lack of experts has been a serious problem for foreign investors. On the other companies should start offering better salaries if they wanted to retain staff but the cheaper costs in Bulgaria have been attractive to foreign businesses, experts say. There is serious interest from companies that are operating in the automotive industry, but the number of players in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries continues to grow, too. These are usually global players that are in the top five in the world in a given industry, it was reported.
