Wonders of Bulgaria 2016 national campaign starts

Bulgarian Vice President Margarita Popova has launched the sixth edition of “Wonders of Bulgaria” national campaign. It aims at promoting the cultural heritage of Bulgaria, the development of cultural tourism and at supporting museums in the country. Special focus will be placed on monasteries in Bulgaria and the development of pilgrimage tourism. The Vice President announced the start of the voting, which this year will choose the best tourist sites in Bulgaria, separated in five categories – treasures, tourist attractions archaeological discoveries, monasteries and museums.
