At Sofia’s request "Frontex" strengthens control at Bulgarian borders with Turkey and Serbia

Frontex, the European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the EU will strengthen control at Bulgaria's borders with Turkey and Serbia. The decision was taken at the request of Bulgarian authorities. The agency will deploy officers, patrol cars, and teams with dogs to help Bulgarian authorities detect people hidden in cars, buses and trains, Deputy Executive Director of "Frontex" Berndt Körner has announced. The Agency will also help in determining the nationality of incoming migrants.
