No new debt for 2017 budget envisaged

Bulgarian Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov commented on the fact that Bulgarian banks passed the stress tests, stating that figures show that the government debt ceiling for 2017 will be zero.
“People have no cause to worry about their savings. The capital indicators of our system are almost twice as good as the average European figures that came out after the stress tests of banks in Europe,” said Minister Goranov and added that the resources accumulated will probably be spent on debt reduction operations.
