Rosen Plevneliev: Make your Olympic dreams come true

"Be self-assured, be determined. In recent years sports have grown to be more and more important strategically for any nation and it is vital that we use sports to boost the national pride of Bulgarians. I wish you success, make your dreams come true, here at these Olympic Games,” said President Rosen Plevneliev during his meeting with Bulgarian athletes in Rio de Janeiro. The Bulgarian head of state visited the Olympic village and met with competitors, coaches, officials and the media. President Plevneliev is in Rio de Janeiro at the invitation of the International Olympic Committee. He will attend the closing ceremony tomorrow.
