Sales of new automobiles mark rapid increase in Bulgaria

The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association announced that in August 2016 the sales of new passenger vehicles in the EU, including Bulgaria, marked a sharp increase which was not typical for that time of the year. Car sales in the EU saw a 10% increase year on year, following a 1.4% decline registered in the previous month. Sales of new automobiles in Bulgaria increased with 8.9% year on year. Car sales are among the main indicators of the state of the European economy and the latest data has sent a positive signal about the economic condition of the European Union.
