EC to support Bulgaria with 108 million euro for border protection against migrant wave: Jean-Claude Juncker

The European Commission has vowed to support Bulgaria with 108 million euro for protection of borders against the migration wave, EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has said in Bratislava, the Bulgarian National Radio special correspondent to the EU Bratislava summit, Deyan Yotov, reports. Jean-Claude Juncker has specified that an attempt will be made to raise further 52 million euro to complete the amount demanded by Bulgaria, or 160 million euro. Earlier today the Bulgarian PM Boyko Borissov demonstrated to German Chancellor Angel Merkel the challenges that Bulgaria is faced with. He showed to Merkel a map of Bulgaria illustrating migration pressure.
