Premier Borissov meets with EBRD President Chakrabarti

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will continue to partner with Bulgaria during the fulfillment of strategic projects. It became clear after the meeting between Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov and the President of EBRD Suma Chakrabarti. Sir Chakrabarti was satisfied with the high economic growth and with the stability of the Bulgarian economy in the recent quarters. Suma Chakrabarti announced that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development intended to direct its investments and consultant services in the power engineering sector, the water and municipal services and help that country boost competitiveness in the private sector. Other topics of discussion during the meeting regarded the emission of bonds by the Bulgarian Energy Holding and possible loan agreement regarding the purchase of electrical vehicles for the needs of the public transport in Sofia.
