The speaker of Bulgaria’s Parliament Tsetska Tsacheva is the nominee of the main ruling party GERB in the Presidential elections. Her candidature was officially announced by Premier and leader of GERB Boyko Borissov. Vice Admiral Plamen Manushev is GERB’s nominee for Vice President. Tsetska Tsacheva would become Bulgaria’s first female President, if elected in November this year. Tsacheva has presided over Bulgaria's National Assembly two times- between July 2009 and March 2013 in Boyko Borissov’s first cabinet and from October 2014 till present in Borissov’s second government.
