Kristalina Georgieva said she would make brave reforms in that organization and use flexible approach to solve the world crises if elected for the next UN top job. On Monday Poland and Latvia announced that they also stood in support of Georgieva’s candidature. The UN Security Council is to vote on October 5. The final results will depend on the decision of Russia, Great Britain, China, France and the USA, because these countries have the righ to veto and could block each of the nominees.
