Bulgaria’s law enforcement authorities busted a crime group making fake Euros. Over 3 million fake Euro banknotes were seized during the operation of the Chief Directorate Combating Organized Crime. The printing house was in Bulgaria’s city of Plovdiv (Central South Bulgaria). Nine people were detained during the operation. Fake Euro notes manufactured by that criminal group have been found in almost all EU countries since the end of 2015.
