The Bulgarian National Bank has reported that in August the balance of payments remained positive and reached a level of 621.2 million euros in comparison to a level of 424.9 million euros a year earlier. The balance for the first eight months of the year was also positive and totaled 1914.8 million euros (4.2 percent of GDP), it was reported.
