Sofia elected to chair Eurocities Mobility Forum

From 17 to 19 October the Finnish city of Tampere hosted a meeting the Eurocities Mobility Forum where Sofia was elected to chair the Forum in the two years to come. The forum provides to its members exchange of good practices for sustainable urban mobility as well as cooperation that benefits the cities in communication with European institutions – the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Committee of the Regions. Eurocities is a network of European cities that includes more than 140 cities from more than 30 European countries. Sofia’s activities while chairing the forum will be supported by the city of Mannheim in Germany that was elected Deputy Chair of the forum.
