A UN expert report reads that weapons from Eastern Europe and Israel end up in the hands of the warring sides in South Sudan, AFP reports, as quoted by BTA.
The report mentions a shipment of 4,000 assault rifles, delivered to the defence ministry of Uganda in July 2014. The deal was brokered by a company belonging to Moldovan national Valerii Kopeikin. The weapons and munition were then transferred to South Sudan.
