Bulgaria will participate with a frigate at NATO’s operation Sea Guardian in the Mediterranean Sea, Bulgaria’s Minister of Defense Nikolay Nenchev announced in Brussels. NATO warships are to cooperate with the European mission Sophia in the central Mediterranean which combats smugglers of migrants who come from the Libyan shore.
