Bulgaria’s cabinet is to look for an investor for Belene nuclear power plant, or will look for an option to build another nuclear unit at Kozloduy NPP, Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov said on Sunday in Plovdiv (Central South Bulgaria). The life of the 5th and the 6th units at Kozloduy nuclear power plant was extended by 30 years, Premier Borissov announced. Boyko Borissov confirmed that Russia agreed to write off the interest that Bulgaria owes on its debt for Belene project. Last week Russian company Rosatom announced that it would write off the interest, if Bulgaria pays its debt to the tune of over EUR 600 million until December 15, 2016.
