Russia is ready for pragmatic cooperation with Bulgaria, Anatoly Makarov says

Russia is ready for pragmatic cooperation with Bulgaria, the new Russian ambassador to Sofia Anatoly Makarov said in an interview with the TASS Agency. According to the ambassador, dialogue in the energy sphere remains a priority. Mr. Makarov believes that improvement in bilateral cooperation ha been marked, and evidence of that were telephone conversations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov in August and September. More intense cooperation under the framework of the bilateral intergovernmental commission on economic and scientific-technical cooperation has also been marked, it was reported.
