President Rosen Plevneliev congratulates Donald Trump

Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev has sent a congratulatory letter to Donald Trump on the occasion of his election as the United States of America head of state. "I am convinced that only with joint efforts could we actively and successfully deal with present-day challenges and threats and pursue a safer and more united world. Bulgaria and the United States of America share views and assessment of the world’s main events and this shows in their close cooperation as strategic partners”, Rosen Plevneliev has written to Donald Trump. The Bulgarian head of state has also raised the question of removal of visa requirements for Bulgarian nationals as a leading topic in the future Bulgaria-US dialogue.
