Operational capabilities of Bulgarian Air Force are guaranteed, Minister Nenchev says

As a result of consistent policy conducted by Bulgarian Minister of Defense Nikolay Nenchev regarding the Air Force in this country, an agreement for the supply of 10 engines for MiG-29 aircraft was signed on November 9, it has been reported. Four out of these engines will be new and they have twice the resource of the six repaired engines. The contractor will deliver the first two refurbished engines until April 30, 2017, it was announced. This way the capabilities of fighter aviation in Bulgaria will be guaranteed, the ministry said. The new agreement will allow for the renovation of five MiG 29 aircraft.
