Minister Angelkova: Financing for tourism advertising up by 30 percent in 2017

“Financing for tourism advertising for next year will be increased by 30 percent to reach a total of 6.6 million euro. National advertising will be targeted at leading and promising markets,” said Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova in an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio.

With the winter season approaching there is an increase in the number of early bookings, mostly from Russia, Great Britain, Ireland, Romania, Greece, Serbia, Macedonia and Israel. Forecasts indicate a 4.5-5 percent increase during the winter season.
