Data by the Central Election Commission in Bulgaria after processing 99.33 percent of election protocols confirm the convincing victory of Rumen Radev at the presidential elections. The candidate backed by the Bulgarian Socialist Party received 59.35 percent of the votes at the runoff, while his rival from the ruling GERB Party, Tsetska Tsacheva, received just 36.17%. After Prime Minister Boyko Borissov confirmed his promise to resign in case Tsacheva lost and announced he would not form a new government in the current National Assembly, BSP also called for early parliamentary elections.
