President Plevneliev meets President-elect of Moldova

In Chisinau Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev has met with the President-elect of Moldova Igor Dodon. The two exchanged views on the situation in Moldova after the presidential elections on November 13, and discussed issues of regional, European and international agenda. President Plevneliev expressed hope that the policy of the Moldovan authorities will keep the continuity in terms of preservation of national, linguistic and cultural identity of the Bulgarian ethnic minority in the country. In the second day of his visit the Bulgarian President will hold talks with representatives of the Bulgarian diaspora in Taraclia and alumni of the Taraclia State University, which is the only Bulgarian university abroad.
